Are there any Voodoo or Haitian Vodou practitioners here?

Is it ok if I worship ONLY one Vodou god. I want to worship the goddess of love and beauty Erzulie Freda because I’m gay and gay men are considered to be under her particular patronage.

Shamans see gay men as holy (having two souls) though they are forced to use their divinity and become a shaman…
Traditionally you’re going to need to honor Legba as well, as he opens the way for the servant’s requests and service to reach the other lwa. Without asking his aid, none of the other lwa will arrive.
Also, be aware that Erzulie Freda is known for demanding ALOT from her servants. She’ll ask for more than you can afford to give if you let her, so be aware of that.
You may want to get a book by Kenaz Filan called “The Haitian Vodou Handbook: Protocols for Riding with the Lwa”. It’s a really great place to start for those who wish to work with the lwa but do not have a physical house to attend services at.
There is only one God in Haitian Vodou and that is “Bondye”, Bondye is seen as a distant and incomprehensible cosmic force that encompasses everything in the universe, worthy of our worship but largely out of human reach.
Erzulie Freda is a Lwa, a Lwa is a Vodou Spirit, a bit like a Saint or Angel, there to help you because Bondye is busy doing other things.
We do not worship the Lwa, yes we serve and honour them and in return they serve and take care of us, but we do not worship them because only God is worthy of our worship.
If Erzulie Freda walks with you then you are welcome to serve her and recieve her blessings, to find out if she walks with you you must first consult a Houngan (Vodou Priest) or Mambo (Vodou Priestess) and lucky for you if she does walk with you! For she is a wonderful spirit!
Bare in mind being gay does not automatically put you under the patronage of Erzulie Freda, true, Erzulie Freda does take a fancy to gay men, but this does not necessarily mean you are her child and if you are not her child, dont worry there may be many other wonderful spirits who may be interested in you!
Also, as someone else quiet rightly mentioned you cannot serve Erzulie Freda by herself, you must serve Legba aswell, as Legba is the gatekeeper and the only spirit who can grant you access to the domain Erzulie Freda inhabits.
Vodou cannot be learned from books or the internet, find yourself a good qualified priest or priestess and take it from there.
